The financing was jointly led by Prosperity7 Ventures, a subsidiary of Aramco Ventures, and a specialized investment fund in the life sciences sector, and also attracted follow-on investments from investors such as Sky9 Capital, Amazing Healthcare US Dollar Fund, Amazing Grace Fund, and Guanghua Wutong Fund. The funds will be used to accelerate the development of its radiopharmaceutical pipeline, expand its manufacturing capacity and further optimise its proprietary discovery platform, UniRDC.

2. [Eilink Bio and Roche enter into a global collaboration to advance the development of YL211, a next-generation oncology therapeutic medicine]

 

On January 2, 2024, Medilink Therapeutics entered into a global collaboration and license agreement with Roche. The parties will jointly develop YL211, a next-generation antibody-drug conjugate candidate, primarily for the treatment of solid tumors. Roche is paying an initial payment of US$50 million and milestone payments up to or including US$1 billion, as well as royalties based on net sales.YL211 is based on the technology of Medilink Therapeutics TMALIN® ADC platform and uniquely targets mesenchymal epidermal transforming factor (c-MET). The medicine has demonstrated potential in multiple preclinical trials and is currently in the clinical filing stage. This collaboration marks an innovation in the field of oncology therapeutics by Medilink Therapeutics, aiming at providing more effective treatment options for oncology patients around the world.This major collaboration brings a certain amount of attention to the pharmaceutical field and demonstrates the strategic partnership between Medilink Therapeutics and Roche, which will work together to advance the development of next-generation antibody-drug conjugate and innovations for the treatment of solid tumors.

 

3. [Bristol Myers Squibb (BMS) Acquires RayzeBio for $4.1 Billion to Build Strength in Radiopharmaceutical Therapeutics]


December 26, 2023 - Bristol Myers Squibb (NYSE: BMY) (BMS) will acquire radiopharmaceutical therapeutics company RayzeBio, Inc. (NASDAQ: RYZB) for $62.50 per share in cash, with a total equity value of approximately $4.1 billion and estimated net cash from the acquisition of $3.6 billion.
